The Vice President of Marketing will lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive lead generation, enhance brand awareness, and support census growth across all senior living communities. This role is responsible for managing digital marketing efforts and PR strategies while ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives. Additionally, this role will oversee all internal and external communications to maintain brand consistency, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communication management. Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive lead generation and business growth. Analyze data and market trends to align marketing strategies with overall company objectives (OKRs). Oversee and manage SEO efforts, paid digital advertising, and the digital marketing agency partnership. Lead paid digital advertising efforts, including PPC, display ads, retargeting, and social media advertising to maximize ROI. Manage digital marketing agency partnerships, ensuring deliverables align with company goals, performance KPIs, and lead generation objectives. Utilize analytics and conversion tracking tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Call Tracking, etc.) to assess marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure website updates and enhancements are executed effectively to improve user experience, mobile responsiveness, and lead conversion. Recommend and implement new marketing automation and lead nurturing solutions to optimize conversion rates and ensure census targets are being met. Marketing & Advertising Management
Oversee print and advertising strategies, ensuring alignment with community and company goals. Manage advertising budgets and vet potential new advertising opportunities for lead generation. Work with digital marketing agencies to execute monthly email blasts and digital outreach campaigns. Oversee the development of landing pages, content marketing initiatives, and A / B testing strategies to enhance conversion rates. Develop and refine social media advertising strategies, ensuring brand consistency and engagement across platforms. Public Relations, Communications & Crisis Management
Develop and manage all PR efforts for the company to maintain a strong public image. Handle PR crisis management by collaborating with the COO, risk management, and legal teams to address PR issues. Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization when necessary and manage media relations. Draft press releases, corporate statements, and responses to media inquiries as needed. Internal Communications
Develop and implement internal communication strategies to assist community teams with engaging employees, prospects, families, and residents. Create and distribute newsletters, corporate announcements, and leadership communications. Oversee brand messaging across all company communication platforms, including social media, internal portals, and corporate materials. Act as the primary point of contact for sales and marketing vendors, ensuring performance standards are met. Manage relationships with key marketing partners, including Aline, Craft and Communicate, FPC, Further, Birdeye, Accushield, Call Rail, and other third-party providers. Oversee CRM and lead management system integrations, ensuring optimal performance and tracking for digital marketing campaigns. Stay updated on emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, ensuring Civitas Senior Living remains competitive in online lead generation and branding. Training and Development
Provide coaching and training to regional and community teams’ assistance as needed for select marketing vendors including CRM. Key Job / Physical Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field required. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or a related field strongly preferred. Minimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, senior living, or related industries, with a focus on business development, strategic partnerships, or network management. At least 2 years in a senior leadership or regional-level role overseeing multi-market strategy and execution. Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Enquire), BI dashboards (e.g., Domo), and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel up to 75% across regions to support field teams and partnership development. Mobility : Ability to travel to different sites and move around facilities as needed. Manual Dexterity : Capable of using office equipment, including computers and phones. Visual / Auditory : Must be able to read, work on computers, and attend virtual / in-person meetings. Stamina : Maintain high energy levels for long working hours including meetings and conferences. Lifting : Occasionally required to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, especially for event setup.
