The Vice President of Market Access is a senior executive responsible for developing and leading strategies to ensure optimal market access, reimbursement, and pricing for the company’s products. This leader will play a critical role in shaping and executing market access strategies across multiple channels, including payers, providers, government agencies, and health systems, to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead national payer strategy to secure optimal reimbursement, coverage, and access for the company's products and services.
  2. Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key payers, PBMs, and other access stakeholders.
  3. Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances, partnerships, and collaborations with external organizations including biopharma, healthcare providers, and technology vendors.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for key strategic partners to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  5. Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytics to inform strategic decisions, including forecasting, pricing, segmentation, and competitive intelligence.
  6. Lead a cross-functional analytics team that delivers actionable insights to commercial, medical, and executive teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health policy, business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, or PharmD) strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in market access, health economics, pricing, or reimbursement roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successful market access launches and payer engagement.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. (and/or global) healthcare systems, reimbursement frameworks, and HTA processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in complex, evolving environments.
