Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective lending strategies, policies, products, and procedures across all Everence entities.
  • Maintain strong performance and quality across all lending functions and services.
  • Ensure lending staff are effective, well equipped, and properly trained.
  • Supervise, coach, and support personnel to achieve optimal performance.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with Everence personnel, management, and members.
  • Coordinate lending activities across related Everence departments, branches, and channels.
  • Provide leadership to the Everence Church Loan Committee, including process and policy updates and church and commercial loan requests for final decisions.
  • Lead new initiatives, including the Everence Impact Fund and other product or balance sheet opportunities.

POSITION SUMMARY
Serves as a member of the EFCU senior management team, helping establish and implement major goals and strategic objectives for EFCU and broader Everence Financial lending initiatives. Provides leadership for all aspects of lending across Everence, including management of the loan portfolio and underwriting for consumer, mortgage, and business loans. Oversees collections and loan servicing functions.
