Job summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Facilities Management is a key strategic leader responsible for the overall vision, direction, and performance of the University’s facilities enterprise. The Vice President will strengthen operational effectiveness, elevate the quality of facilities services, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Vice President will serve as a collaborative partner to senior leadership and key campus stakeholders, fostering strong communication and alignment of facilities operations and services with the University’s strategic priorities and evolving needs. The successful candidate will bring a strong service orientation and the ability to understand institutional priorities, build productive relationships across the University, and translate those priorities into effective facilities operations and services. The successful candidate will also be a reliable and nimble leader who exercises sound judgment, communicates clearly, and responds effectively to both planned priorities and emerging operational needs.

Required Qualifications

The next Vice President of Facilities Management must have at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, operations, building maintenance, or a related field, with demonstrated experience leading complex facilities operations and teams within a higher education environment, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $275,000-$325,000 and includes a generous benefits package.
