ExcelServices is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead our accounting and legal functions, driving accurate financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and safeguarding company assets while living our mission: We Help People Excel.

The role partners with the CFO and leadership to shape financial strategy, ensures compliance, and builds high-performance teams across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing multiple teams
• Strong financial acumen and ERP/Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead, problem-solve, and drive accountability
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, including direct oversight of the Controller and Contract Manager
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements
• Present monthly financial packets and insights to leadership
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and manage the annual budget
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Identify automation and process improvements for efficiency and cost savings
• Oversee accounting and legal operations to align with company goals
• Develop and enforce accounting policies
• Maintain relationships with banking, insurance, accounting, and legal services
• Payroll review and tax filings
