Ladders is seeking a Vice President, Media Relations, Global to shape and elevate our client’s global media presence. The role is remote and reports to senior leadership, building a scalable media relations capability and guiding messaging through high-visibility issues and crises.

This is a senior communications position requiring 15+ years in media relations, a Bachelor’s in communications-related field, and a proven ability to lead teams and engage national and trade media.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field required.
• 15+ years of progressive media relations and corporate communications experience.
• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience managing teams and complex communications programs.
• Established relationships with national business and trade media preferred.
• Exceptional media relations and strategic planning skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Media Relations, Global to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This leader will shape and elevate the organization’s global media presence, moving the function from reactive response to proactive narrative leadership. The role will build a scalable media relations capability, partner closely with executive leadership, and guide messaging through high-visibility business issues and crises. It is a senior communications position with broad influence across the enterprise and strong exposure to national and trade media.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $270,000 – $290,000 annually
