Job summary

FirstService Residential in Estero, FL seeks a Vice President, Master Planned Communities to lead the association management business, oversee property management teams, and drive sustainable growth.

Reporting to the President, Master Planned Communities, you will build a high-performance service culture, mentor regional directors and community managers, and foster strong board relationships to deliver measurable client satisfaction and financial results.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of senior management and executive leadership experience.
  • Experience in residential property management or related service industries.
  • Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and manage multi-location teams.
  • Proven track record in driving sales and business growth.
  • Experience managing a P&L and budgeting.
  • Ability to set and execute long-term business plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall senior leadership and strategic direction for the association management business.
  • Build and lead a team of regional directors and community managers.
  • Develop relationships with boards to ensure high service standards and retention.
  • Partner with business development to grow the market.
  • Ensure ancillary services are understood and offered.
  • Drive financial performance to meet targets in the business plan.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent and manage HR processes.
  • Promote FirstService Residential in the market to enhance presence.

Job Overview:

TheVicePresident,Master Planned Communitieswillleadallcommunitymanagement businesseffortsinthe business unitand, have direct responsibility for leading all property management teams as well as profitably, grow the business.Reporting to the President, Master Planned Communities, the ideal candidate will have experience in building and leading a customer focused service organization with a strong culture of performance and accountability.The Vice President will be a member of the market leadership team and will be supportedandwillworkcrossfunctionallywithothersharedservice leaders such as marketing,HR, and financial services.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provideoverallseniorleadershipandstrategicdirectionofthe associationmanagementbusinesstodeliverlong-term, sustainable growth.
  • Build,mentor,andleada team of Regional Directors (RDs), and through them CommunityAssociationManagers,todeliver our service culture and results-based accountability.
  • FormstrongrelationshipswiththeBoardofDirectors,allassignedpropertiesinsupport ofdeliveringanexceptional level of service resulting in measurable client satisfaction and retention objectives being met.
  • PartnerwithBusinessDevelopmentDirector(s)toplananddeliverlong-term,sustainablegrowthinthemarketthrough both developers and existing communities.
  • Ensurethatourcompany’sancillaryservicesareunderstoodandofferedbytheRDstotheirrespectiveproperties.
  • Understandandowntheannualbusinessplan.Drivefinancialperformancetoachievetargetedobjectivesandexecution of initiatives as committed to in the business plan.
  • Attract,develop,andretainhighperformerswithintheorganization.EnsureHRandcommunicationprocessesarein place to actively engage with associates and manage a growing service organization.
  • ActivelypromoteandrepresentFirstServiceResidentialinthemarketplacetobuildourpresenceandreputationwithin the broader community, as well as with professionals and vendors serving our industry.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of senior management and executive leadership experience. Preferred experience within residential property management, hospitality, commercial or facilities management, real-estate services, food and beverage or other service-based industries.
  • Must have proven experience in the development of and performance management of highly successful teams, with at least 5-8 direct reports for 5 or more years.
  • Proven success in delivering client service across a multi-location business including associate training and team engagement.
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering sales and business growth.
  • Development and execution of change management initiatives with a focus on service delivery and customer service.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in managing a P&L and the drivers of profitable service delivery.
  • Creation and execution to a long-term and annual business plan (including financial plan “budget”).
