Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic VP of Marketing to lead all marketing initiatives across our real estate portfolio, focusing on new development launches and ongoing marketing for stabilized multifamily rental properties. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive lease-up velocity, brand awareness, tenant retention, and market positioning.
The VP of Marketing will oversee branding, digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and leasing support efforts across multiple assets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing leader with deep experience in real estate—particularly in launching new developments—and a strong grasp of consumer behavior, creative direction, and performance analytics.
Responsibilities
Develops and implements comprehensive marketing plans and strategies across digital, traditional, and social media channels.
Oversees creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
Collaborates with outside agencies for campaign development.
Supervises the marketing team and ensures effective campaign execution.
Reviews marketing campaigns with property teams to improve occupancy and revenue.
Oversees reputation management across internet media outlets, maintaining high ratings and reviews.
Manages social media presence (Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.).
Designs leasing approaches and trains sales staff to meet customer expectations.
Develops KPIs, tracks, and measures marketing performance using data analytics.
Conducts market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Stays updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.
Creates business workflows focused on technology and customer experience.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Communications
Coordinates internal communication to foster positive culture and motivation.
Provides strategies for organizational communication from leadership to staff.
Works with property management to develop communication protocols with residents.
Participates in branding initiatives and acts as a brand ambassador.
Manages the company's brand identity and reputation.
Requirements
Over 8 years of marketing management experience in multifamily / hospitality industry preferred.
Proficient with social media platforms.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Creative with evaluating advertising and promotional programs.
Strategic thinker with a positive attitude.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to execute under tight timelines.
Elegant design sense and branding expertise.
Proven ability to manage multiple assets and priorities.
