Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Manufacturing to lead the transformation and scale of our current Andover operation while building a new model for the Somerville facility to support next-generation products.

The role requires executive-level collaboration across Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness for scale. You will establish world-class operating systems, drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and shape a scalable blueprint for future sites and potential

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership experience.
Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Proven ability to transform and scale manufacturing operations and drive sustained improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead existing Andover operation and establish a high-performing Manufacturing Leadership Team focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Drive transformation to support significant growth through processes, systems, and standard work.
Lead the Somerville facility build, validation, ramp, and transfer of products into production, ensuring readiness for scale.
