Position Overview

As Vice President, Major Projects, you will lead the Americas Outage and Maintenance Services (AOMS) Major Projects Business Unit. You will be a key member of the AOMS Leadership team, responsible for executing major projects at customer-owned nuclear power plants, from inquiry to remittance, and establishing strong customer and partner relationships.

This role reports to the President, AOMS. It is a remote position based anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop business strategies to capture and execute large installation and upgrade projects over $25M in the Nuclear Steam Supply and Balance of Plant sectors.
2. Build and lead a team capable of supporting a Business Unit focused on managing large field projects.
3. Oversee project execution in collaboration with the Westinghouse Project Management Office to ensure successful delivery.
4. Cultivate partnerships to ensure capability and capacity for project execution.
5. Partner with global market and commercial teams to maintain relationships with clients ranging from implementers to senior executives.
6. Apply Value Stream methodology for efficient service and project delivery.
7. Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) data to balance capacity and demand.
8. Maintain market intelligence and pipeline data to position Westinghouse as a key player in nuclear fleet upgrades in the Americas.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
2. At least 5 years of project management experience managing increasingly large projects; 15+ years preferred.
3. 5 years of executive leadership experience in the nuclear power industry.
4. Demonstrated Business Unit (P&L) leadership experience.
5. Practitioner of Lean Management with a proven track record of applying Lean principles in operations.
