Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a highly motivated investment banking professional with 6-10 years in M&A advisory, ideally within Consumer, Business Services, Agriculture, or Industrials. The role emphasizes strong deal execution, client interaction, and leadership responsibilities within a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in M&A advisory or investment banking.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills; proficient in modeling and valuation.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior team on a variety of assignments.
• Lead the preparation and review of pitch books, IMs, management presentations, and financial models.
• Conduct financial analysis and valuation work, oversee modeling, and manage due diligence processes.
• Review and guide junior team members to ensure accuracy and prioritization.
• Engage directly with client executive teams and play a central role in deal execution and due diligence coordination.
• Support outreach during marketing phases with private equity firms, lenders, and strategic acquirers.
• Assist with business development, relationship management, and sourcing new opportunities.
