Job Title: Vice President, Global Asset Management Investment Banking

Location: New York, NY (One Bryant Park, Bank of America Tower)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join our industry-leading Global Asset Management Investment Banking team within our Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

Responsibilities:

  1. Review, coordinate, and oversee analytical work of junior bankers to facilitate marketing and execution processes.
  2. Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum client impact.
  3. Oversee the creation of M&A models.
  4. Coordinate internally across products and countries as part of a global team, and with external parties (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties).
  5. Lead diligence processes.
  6. Identify and manage all risks related to each deal.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking with extensive M&A advisory work in the asset management sector.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel modeling and valuation work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate concepts clearly and defend their validity.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage teams to tight deadlines, and synthesize large amounts of information.
  • Adaptability, independence in managing projects, and readiness to assume responsibility as a key team member.
  • Professional and mature interaction with clients and investors.
  • Understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large investment banks today.
  • Experience training junior bankers.
  • Skills in financial research, business analysis, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)

    Hours Per Week: 40

    Pay Transparency:

    Salary range: $275,000 annually, with offers determined by experience, education, and skills. Discretionary incentive eligible, based on performance.
