Job summary

Goodman Community Center seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to lead the People & Culture function, directing strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, and employee relations while ensuring organizational culture and compliance.

The role reports to the President and oversees HR professionals, driving scalable workforce systems, leadership development, and alignment with the organization’s mission and participant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR or organizational leadership experience.
• Experience with employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, and compliance oversight.
• Professional HR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team.
• Lead workforce planning and organizational staffing strategy.
• Provide executive leadership consultation regarding organizational structure, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, employee relations, and organizational risk.
• Lead organizational performance management, accountability, and work performance measurement frameworks.
• Lead organizational culture, values, and mission alignment strategy.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives.
• Lead succession planning and high‑potential employee development initiatives.
• Develop employee and leadership development strategies.
• Conduct workforce risk assessments and organizational climate monitoring.
• Lead cross‑functional operational planning and organizational alignment initiatives.
• Develop organizational structure recommendations.
• Lead HR process design and continuous improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
• Lead alignment between workforce practices, program leadership, and mission‑based employment initiatives.
• Ensure workforce strategies align with organizational mission and participant outcomes.
