The Health Division Vice President oversees a broad portfolio and joins RAND's senior management on strategic decisions, reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Research Officer. This is a 5-year term position with potential renewal and full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• Strong executive leadership and ability to direct large multidisciplinary teams.
• Recognized expert in health policy or health services research.
• Established network with government, health systems, academia, and philanthropy.
• Proven track record in sponsor engagement and revenue generation.
• Excellent analytic skills and capability to oversee diverse methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for all Health Division activities and strategy.
• Lead the division's management team and program directors.
• Develop and execute strategic plan including research priorities and staffing plans.
• Oversee research portfolio across health financing, services, and population health.
• Build strategic relationships with government agencies, foundations, and sponsors.
• Collaborate with other RAND leaders to strengthen business development and research impact.
• Represent RAND as a principal spokesperson on health policy.
