Morgan Stanley is seeking a VP in Americas Research Risk Management to strengthen governance, risk controls, and incident analysis across a global platform. The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration and robust control frameworks to support a premier research function.

You will contribute to risk policy, incident response, and program development while engaging with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Tech and Publishing in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in Legal, Compliance or Risk Management or incident management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, global environment.
• Experience with Microsoft platforms, Zoom, Teams.
• Project management capabilities; Agile familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervising day to day risk controls of the research franchise.
• Monitor and improve control frameworks or create new ones as needed.
• Maintain policies, investigate exceptions, and assist with resolution.
• Develop thematic incident risk assessment program.
• Lead projects related to the supervisory platform and information security.
• Assist with audits and compliance assessments.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to resolve complex risk incidents and escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement and global standardization.
