Job Description for VP of Finance and Accounting

Unity Search has partnered with a fast-growing, international Retail/Distribution company in the DFW area in its search for a Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Reporting directly to the President and based at the corporate headquarters, this role will have ultimate responsibility for all accounting and finance functions of the company, including but not limited to:

• Serving as the top finance executive in the organization and acting as the “right hand” to the President
• Training and mentoring accounting staff, including a strong Corporate Accounting Manager, with oversight of accounting functions
• Presenting financial updates and board decks at quarterly meetings, providing necessary guidance
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses for the President and the board
• Acting as the primary contact for interactions with attorneys, CPAs, banks, and consultants
• Leading due diligence for anticipated acquisitions and assisting with integration of acquired companies
• Handling various special projects for the President

Requirements

• CPA highly preferred
