Job summary

Wissen Technology is seeking a Vice President/Director – Data Architect to lead data engineering initiatives for flagship engagements in the US wealth management domain. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on leadership role within a fast‑growing technical consulting firm.

You will partner with stakeholders to define, develop and deliver data solutions across warehousing, data lake, ETL, and analytics, while guiding teams and ensuring best practices in cloud, scripting, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Significant design and development experience with Data warehousing, data engineering, database programming.
• Strong experience in python, spark, Datalake and relational databases.
• Good integration experience in scripting languages and scheduling mechanism such as Autosys.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to visualization tools like power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment with a proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Your required skills:

This role will be responsible for working closely with the stakeholders to develop & support data engineering and analytics functionalities in the Wealth Management subdomain at a top tier Investment Bank.

The right candidate will be responsible for hands‑on application development to support the current and target state processes across the design, build, test, deploy & support phases.
