Job summary

Wissen Technology seeks an AVP/VP to lead high-visibility software initiatives. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 remote, requiring 8–10 years of experience in scalable web applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Cloud.

You will drive architectural decisions, oversee delivery at major financial clients, and mentor junior engineers. The candidate should demonstrate deep knowledge of design patterns, SQL data modelling, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Proficiency with SQL database development, data modelling and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Write clean, maintainable code with testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote the company’s engineering culture and excellence.
• Define, develop and deliver solutions at top-tier clients.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings to ensure software quality.
• Assist with re-skilling and certifications; support immigration needs and remote setup.
