Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of financial services experience in risk management & controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, 2LOD or compliance.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Data Risk and Risk assessment.
• Ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment with business partners.
• Results driven with ability to synthesize large volumes of information into actionable recommendations.
• Expertise in issue and event management: remediation planning and closure, lessons learned integration.
• Understanding of regulatory and supervisory expectations for large, complex financial institutions.
• Experience identifying data risks and mitigating controls.
• Knowledge of GDPR, BCBS 239, CCPA data requirements.
• Strong understanding of the 3 lines of defense in banking: Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk Frameworks

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Data Risk Stripe and provide specialized knowledge within the assessment.
• Identify KRIs and KPIs relevant to the assessment.
• Support development and redesign of Data Risk Operational Risk Taxonomy.
• Coordinate and manage quarterly risk assessments, ensuring timely completion.
• Serve as administrator in the Risk Assessment Suite module and resolve 2LOD challenges in collaboration with CCOR Lead Assessment Challenger.
• Support identification and assessment of compliance risks and ensure firmwide consistency in CRA standards.
• Engage with the Community of Practice across lines of business, compliance, legal, and coverage partners to calibrate risk levels.
• Contribute to delivering and reporting the CRAs to governance committees and the JPMC Board.
• Understand FW Data Risk Management Standards and support data governance controls and practices.
• Partner with CDAO Control Managers and Firmwide Controls to ensure data quality and governance.
• Verify key controls in Data related Standards and Policies across CDAO, LOB, and CF leveraging CORE platform knowledge.
