Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Vice President, Control Manager to design and oversee a robust control environment across strategic data initiatives (DDLC, OKRs, Data Publishing Standards).

You will partner with Control Management and CDAO teams to strengthen data governance, uplift data quality, manage operational and regulatory risk, and lead firmwide control activities across Lines of Business and Corporate Functions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Data Engineering and/or Data Development/Architecture and Risk assessment.
• Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Strategy for process analysis to identify risks; design mitigating controls for OKRs, DDLC.
• Develop firmwide common controls like DDLC Standards and Data Publishing Standards; socialize with control teams.
• Understand Firmwide Policy/Standards governing Data Strategic Initiatives and FW Common Processes; act as SME to Business partners.
• Know FW Data Risk Management Standards/Procedures; support data governance controls across risk types.
• Support assessments related to Data Strategic Initiatives with Control management and Business teams.
• Partner with CDAO Control Managers and Firmwide Controls to ensure CORE data quality and governance.
