Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a VP-level Control Manager to oversee standardized processes for Data Quality/Data Lineage within the Chief Data & Analytics Office. You will lead assessments, ensure alignment with risk standards, and develop control frameworks across LOBs/CFs.

Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Op Risk, and Audit to manage the control environment and support regulatory exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Data domain knowledge including Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Quality Controls.
• 7+ years of financial services experience in controls, audit, risk management, data management, or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage Firm-wide Common Processes and related risks and controls in CORE; perform annual design and implementation control evaluations and issue management.
• Complete assessments with Control Management and Business teams (QORA, CORS, Regulatory Topic assessment, CRA, etc.).
• Ensure key controls in Data Risk Management Standards are reflected in CORE and, where appropriate, across LOB/CFs.
• Develop control management framework documents in partnership with business and control partners.
• Support mapping and gap assessment of current-state controls to regulatory requirements for remediation.
• Support community of practice for Data-related Control Managers across LOB/CFs; align with standards and practices.
• Review reporting and metrics to identify emerging risks; enhance metrics for standards adherence and risk detection.
• Support Firmwide Chief Data Office control management priorities, including regulatory responses and audits.
• Lead by example, inspiring confidence among staff and stakeholders.
