L’Oréal Operations in Clark, New Jersey invites an experienced professional to join as Assistant Vice President, Customer Supply Chain – Drug, overseeing strategic partnerships and end-to-end supply chain initiatives with CVS and Walgreens.

You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize OTIF, improve in-stock and online availability, and steer S&OP alignment. Travel up to 25% and a hybrid work policy apply in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years’ experience in FMCG Supply Chain or equivalent; at least 3 years in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent professional verbal & written communication, including negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated analytical approach to management of supply chain interface between CPG organization and the customer.
• Ability to influence end-to-end Supply Chain and other functions across reporting lines.
• Proven ability to structure and conduct supply chain analyses with emphasis on customer collaborative results.
• Effective in motivating and developing talent; leadership experience.
• History of engaging and leading teams while developing talent pipeline.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration sponsorship offered.
• Being present in the office three days a week is considered an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Customer Partnership & External Relations
• Develop and execute tailored supply chain strategies that optimize service levels, OTIF, and trade inventory while balancing cost-to-serve with commercial goals.
• Strengthen retailer partnership: CVS and Walgreens, establish strategic goals, lead joint initiatives, influence external purchasing decisions.
• Customer Advocacy: champion the customer’s perspective within internal teams.
• Supply Chain Optimization & Operational Excellence
• Process & Technology Enhancement: drive continuous improvement to streamline shipments, availability, and online availability.
• Replenishment Alignment: align operational capabilities with customer replenishment strategies.
• Root Cause & Performance Analysis: collaborate to investigate bottlenecks and implement action plans.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: lead meetings on customer supply chain topics with actionable recommendations.
• Leadership & Team Development: mentor and develop the Customer Supply Chain team; build succession plans.
