Job description

Company Overview

Founded in 2011, BasePoint is an asset-based finance platform specializing in short-duration, high-cash-flow receivables from consumer finance, small business, and fintech originators. As traditional banks continue retrenching, we seek to close the widening financing gap for middle-market companies in under-banked sectors. Since inception, BasePoint has deployed more than $15.4 billion across over 170 transactions, establishing a leading position in specialty lending. With the launch of BasePoint Advisors, the SEC registered investment management affiliate in 2021, investors gained diversified access to our loan originations, representing $2.9 billion in AUM of the $5.8 billion outstanding today in total firm facilities. Our team combines deep institutional expertise in asset-based lending, whole-loan sales, servicing, and securitization with a disciplined, risk-focused approach to financing the real economy through creative lending solutions. At BasePoint, we foster a collaborative, team-driven culture built on integrity, accountability, and a shared commitment to creating lasting value and impact.
