League of Conservation Voters is hiring a Vice President, Government Relations & Political Affairs to lead federal government relations and political strategies, oversee candidate endorsements, and manage coordinated political programs. The role requires extensive lobbying experience, strategic leadership, and a commitment to environmental justice.

Qualificações

• Work Experience: At least 10 years in issue advocacy, Capitol Hill, or electoral campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to connect political strategy to campaign advocacy.
• Commitment to racial justice and equity in environmental issues.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a comprehensive federal government relations strategy to advance climate, clean energy, and democracy goals.
• Serve as senior lobbyist and external representative; build high-level relationships with Congress and leadership staff.
• Manage the federal candidate endorsement process and collaborate with campaigns, committees and stakeholders.
• Oversee LCV Action Fund budget and coordinate field programs for campaigns and policy efforts.
• Lead equity and inclusion efforts within government relations and political strategies.
• Travel regularly within DC; up to 20% travel outside DC as needed.
