EDAG Group in the United States seeks a Vice President of Business Development to own and refresh the U.S. go-to-market plan, build executive relationships with OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers, and lead complex pursuits from discovery to handoff to delivery.
You will manage U.S. pipeline quality, align with Finance and Operations on pricing and risk, and drive diversification across sectors, while coaching the BD team reporting to the President & CEO, EDAG North America.

Own and refresh the U.S. go-to-market plan: target segments, named accounts, offerings, and measurablegrowth initiatives
Build executive relationships at OEM, Tier 1/2 supplier, and industrial accounts; lead complex pursuits fromdiscovery through negotiation, award, and handoff to delivery
Own U.S. pipeline quality and forecast accuracy; run weekly opportunity reviews and monthly business reviewsin CRM
Shape outcome-based solutions and work packages (incl. technical staffing), mobilizing U.S. and global EDAG experts
Partner with Finance and Operations on pricing, margin, capacity, and contractual risk before commitments
Build focused diversification in commercial/specialty vehicles, defense mobility, industrial and consumerproducts, and advanced manufacturing
Lead and coach the business development team; reports to the President & CEO, EDAG North America
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
Preferred: graduate degree or training in strategic selling, finance, or technology management
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, construction, modular construction, industrialization, or a related field.
12+ years of progressive business development, sales, or key-account leadership in engineering services,automotive technology, or industrial/digital engineering
Proven wins of complex engineering and technology services with OEMs, suppliers, and manufacturers;established executive network in Detroit and the U.S. industrial ecosystem
Sells consulting, fixed-scope work packages, engineering services, and flexible capacity solutions
Commercial fluency: pricing, gross margin, contracts, negotiation, delivery risk, local/global delivery economics
Preferred: commercial vehicle, defense mobility, or advanced manufacturing experience; matrixed internationalorganization; Solution Selling
