Job summary

81 North seeks a senior, hands-on engineer to build its next-generation algorithmic trading and smart-order-routing platform in New York City. This greenfield role involves working closely with traders and product stakeholders while shaping architecture and code.

You will own execution algorithms, routing logic, and low-latency systems, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalable design in a fast-moving digital-asset environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronic or algorithmic trading technology experience.

New York City | 3-4 days per week onsite

81 North is partnering with a leading digital-assets firm seeking a senior, hands-on engineer to help build its next-generation algorithmic trading and smart-order-routing platform.

This is a greenfield development opportunity for someone who has personally built execution algorithms, routing logic or low-latency electronic-trading systems. You will work closely with traders and product stakeholders while remaining deeply involved in the architecture and code.
