Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the Management Employees Handbook.
This position is FLSA Exempt and may not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment. The Vice President of Administrative Services provides executive-level leadership over the full range of business, financial, facilities, and operational functions for the college. This position directs the college’s annual operating budget, oversees facilities and capital construction — including a billion-dollar bond measure and facilities plan — and ensures compliance with Education Code and state/federal regulations across all administrative functions. The VP serves as a key advisor to the College President and may assume direct responsibility for the college in the President’s absence.
