Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD/DO) or PhD or equivalent in behavioral or social sciences, public health, nursing, pharmacy, or other relevant areas.
• Track record of extramurally funded research in primary care or practice-based research settings.
• Excellent leadership, mentorship, and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the DFM research mission area and set strategic goals and priorities.
• Participate in the DFM executive leadership team and regular reporting.
• Secure federal and other grants and contracts as PI or MPI.
• Oversee the research mission area budget and communicate updates.
• Mentor junior faculty, research staff, and fellows.
• Collaborate across CU departments and external partners to disseminate findings.
