Job summary

The University of Colorado School of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine seeks an experienced researcher to advance an active program. This primarily research-focused position may include limited clinical work or teaching depending on background.

The role collaborates across CU Anschutz, with diverse partners nationwide. Ideal candidates have transdisciplinary interests in exercise as medicine, whole person health, chronic pain, addictions or behavioral health, and a track record in

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Medicine, Osteopathy, or PhD with relevant research background.
• Track record in primary care research, health services research, or clinical trials.
• Ability to obtain Colorado medical licensure and DEA certificate (for physician track).

Responsibilities

• Secure federal and other grants as PI/MPI and participate as Co-I.
• Publish manuscripts and mentor junior faculty and staff.
• Collaborate with departments, centers, and external partners nationwide.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clinicians and research teams.
• Provide oversight of project staff and opportunities for professional development.
• Possibly provide clinical services in primary care clinics and teaching in SOM.
