Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology (American Board of Anesthesiology).
• Eligibility for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
• 7–10 years of progressive clinical and leadership experience in a high-volume academic or tertiary-care medical center.
• Proven success in clinical program development, OR efficiency improvement, quality/safety initiatives, and physician–APP team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for the full scope of anesthesia services.
• Direct clinical practice of faculty anesthesiologists, CRNAs, CAAs, and residents to ensure patient-centered care.
• Develop and standardize clinical protocols, workflows, and best practices across the perioperative continuum.
• Partner with surgical leadership and OR leadership to drive efficiency metrics.
• Lead quality, safety, and risk-management programs, including morbidity conferences and root-cause analyses.
