Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Vibroacoustics and Shock Engineer to lead dynamic environments testing, vibroacoustic analysis, and program-wide technical assessments. Responsibilities include mentorship, cross-team coordination, and presenting findings to leadership, with on-site work in CA, VA, or AL.

Minimum 6+ years in mechanical/aerospace engineering, proficiency in FEA tools, and ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering or similar field.
• 6+ years of applicable professional or academic experience.
• Experience in dynamic environments testing, instrumentation selection/setup, and analysis.
• Knowledge of vibroacoustics analysis methods and simulation tools.
• Ability to present results in briefings and reports to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments and serve as primary contact on multiple programs/projects.
• Proactively identify development areas in environmental standards or analysis and coordinate with teams.
• Perform vibroacoustic testing and instrumentation setup.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Travel to customer facilities to support reviews and testing.
