Job summary

AMD is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer for the Shock and Vibration team in Secaucus, NJ. You will test, validate, and continuously improve mechanical designs to ensure reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction, working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

You will develop test plans, perform shock and vibration tests, analyze results, and provide engineering recommendations to enhance product designs, while collaborating across cross-functional groups to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and test procedures.
• Experience with data collection and analysis methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for shock, vibration, and environmental tests.
