Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Vibration Simulation / FEA Engineer to support the development and virtual validation of batteries. You will use FEA, vibration simulation, modal analysis, and dynamic analysis to predict structural behavior, identify vibration and durability issues, and optimize designs for reliability and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience.
• 3+ years in design or product validation environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software package.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FEA simulations for structural and vibration performance of components, assemblies, and complete systems.
• Perform modal analysis to evaluate natural frequencies, mode shapes, and resonances.
• Conduct dynamic simulations (frequency, harmonic, random, transient, shock) as needed by product requirements.
• Correlate simulation results with test data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop, maintain, and release FEA models, loading criteria, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design, test, reliability, and product development teams throughout the lifecycle.
