Job summary

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Water Aerobics Instructor to join the Gordon Family YMCA in Sumner, Washington. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging water fitness environment and delivering classes that promote health and well-being in line with YMCA guidelines.

One year of related experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate water fitness skills, be confident in the water, and hold Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and

• One year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate water fitness skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
• Must pass background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Design and instruct water fitness classes in accordance with YMCA guidelines.
• Instruct classes for a variety of skill levels and prepare lesson plans.
• Create a safe, engaging atmosphere and promote member safety and participation.
