Job summary

Grace Farms Foundation in New Canaan, CT is seeking a Café Associate to join the on-site cafe team in the River building. You will greet guests, serve drinks and food, and support events while delivering warm, enthusiastic service to all visitors.

This part-time, hourly role requires weekend and some evening availability, reliable transportation, and a friendly, team-oriented approach. You will follow recipes, operate the POS, assist with catering tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe dining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required; food/beverage service preferred.
• Working knowledge of a Point of Sale (POS) system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide accurate menu information.
• Process orders using Grace Farms Point of Sale system.
• Follow beverage recipes and food procedures for orders.
• Support setup and cleanup for internal catered events.
• Maintain a clean, safe service environment and sanitation standards.
• Communicate menu items, specials, and ingredient lists to guests.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality; assist kitchen and dining team.
• Other duties as assigned.
