Job summary

Ford's Garage in Richmond, VA seeks a Bartender (tipped position) to join our team and deliver standout service behind the bar. You’ll craft cocktails, take orders and ensure a welcoming guest experience from the moment guests arrive.

Qualified applicants must have bartender experience, a valid food/alcohol certification, be able to stand for long shifts, and communicate clearly in English. This on-site role offers competitive tipping potential and team-oriented growth.

Qualifications

• Bartender experience required, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints
• Creating stunning, handcrafted cocktails that align with brand recipes
• Promoting our products to guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge on food, beverage and promotional menus.
• Financial accountability during their shift, including consistent bar inventories to ensure balanced funds
• Ensuring our bars are ready to serve guests by stocking, opening and tapping all bar supplies
• Being aware of and abiding by food safety practices and liquor service laws, including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests.
