Job summary

Civra is seeking a hands-on Vibe Coder / AI Developer to train and improve our LLM, connect it to databases and APIs, and turn ideas into deployed software. This in-person role on Wall Street requires practical experience with AI coding tools, debugging, and owning end-to-end features.

You'll work on data preparation, model evaluation, and tooling to enable retrieval and action-taking by AI systems, with direct ownership from prototype to production in a fast-paced environment.

Vibe Coder / AI Developer to help train and improve Civra’s LLM, connect it to databases and APIs, and implement features from idea through testing and deployment. This is an in-person role on Wall Street (New York City).

Key Responsibilities

• Build with Codex and other AI coding tools.
• Connect databases, APIs, and business systems; handle authentication, JSON, and webhooks.
• Prepare and organize data for LLM training and evaluation.
• Test model outputs, investigate failures, and improve reliability.
• Build tools for retrieval and action-taking by AI systems.
• Debug, test, and deploy features; take ownership from prototype to production.

Requirements

• Comfort with APIs, authentication, JSON, and webhooks.
• Practical knowledge of Git, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Good judgment around credentials, private data, and database access.
• Curiosity about LLMs, prompting, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Clear communication, urgency, and follow-through.

Compensation & Location

• Salary: $55,000 — $120,000 per year.
