Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring Helicopter Pilots to provide medical air transportation services. This role requires a FAA Commercial Certificate for Rotorcraft, an instrument rating, and a valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Qualified candidates have extensive total and rotorcraft-specific hours, including PIC and turbine experience, plus night flight hours. The position offers a competitive starting salary with location-based geographic modifiers, a substantial sign-on and retention bonuses, and

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in manuals, including FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change info to successive pilot and team after recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Pilot Incentives

• Starting Salary Range: $88,759 - $97,635
• Up to 27% geographic modifier, depending on location
