Global Medical Response’s Med-Trans division seeks a Helicopter Pilot to perform critical air medical transports with a team of medical specialists. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and precise communication with dispatch and crews.

Qualified candidates hold a rotorcraft commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, with extensive flight hours including nighttime and instrument experience.

Formación

• FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required to operate instrument flight rules.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required for air medical operations.
• Total flight hours: 2,000 hours.
• Helicopter hours: 1,500 hours.
• Helicopter PIC hours: 1,000 hours.
• Turbine helicopter hours: 500 hours.
• Night flight hours: 200 hours (with or without visual).
• Instrument hours: 200 hours (Actual/ Hood/ SIM).

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals, FARs, and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information and document Med-Trans changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• $115,386 - $126,925 including 30% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) 50 Hours Actual WX in Aircraft

Preferred Qualifications

• EC145 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
