Job summary

Saber Power Services is seeking an experienced VFD Specialist/Technician II to join our Rosharon, TX team. This role installs, programs, tests, troubleshoots, and commissions VFDs, motor controls, and related equipment, with a focus on safety, quality, and project specs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical or industrial controls, hands-on experience with VFDs from major manufacturers, and the ability to read drawings and configure control systems. Travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or electrical training preferred.
• 3+ years electrical or industrial controls experience, with VFD experience.
• Experience with major VFDs (ABB, Rockwell/AB, Siemens, Schneider) preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, program, test, and troubleshoot VFDs and motor control equipment.
• Perform startup and commissioning activities for VFDs and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and product manuals.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
