Job summary

Benshaw is seeking a VFD Technical Specialist & Trainer to serve as a go-to expert in variable frequency drives and motor control systems. You will provide advanced technical support, design and deliver engaging training programs for engineers, technicians, and distributors, both on-site and at customer sites.

The role requires 5+ years with VFDs or industrial automation, plus strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication to teach diverse audiences.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience with VFDs, motor controls, or industrial automation.
Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on knowledge of AC/DC motors and drives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for training technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert in VFDs, soft starters, and motor controls.
Support customers, sales reps, and distributors with application engineering, startup, and troubleshooting.
Deliver hands-on technical training in classrooms, labs, and customer facilities.
Develop engaging training materials (manuals, presentations, videos, e-learning).
Stay ahead of industry standards and emerging technologies to keep content fresh and relevant.
