The ideal candidate will help obtain patient history, assist during physical exams, and manage lab tests while upholding our high standards for animal care.

As a Triage Technician at Advanced Animal Care Berea, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice by providing support to our veterinarians and assisting in patient care.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Obtaining patient history
• Recording notes Smartflow
• Assisting the doctor-on-duty during the physical exam
• Aiding in animal restraint
• Collecting specimens for lab testing
• Running lab tests as directed by doctor-on-duty
• Invoicing patient procedures and appointments (out-patient)
• Cleaning exam rooms following every exam
• Maintaining steady laundry flow
• Maintaining a clean hospital
• Continue processing/autoclaving surgery instruments as necessary
• Processing payments/deposits
• Checking in and putting away inventory orders
