VCA Urgent Care offers same-day access to high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. Our technical team works in pairs, using a digital whiteboard to streamline diagnostics and treatments, keeping doctors updated in real time. We emphasize low-stress handling, hands-free radiology, and an efficient treatment space to ensure patient comfort.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate nursing care for urgent care patients, including triage, diagnostics, treatments, and monitoring.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and client education, ensuring clear communication about patient needs.
• Perform laboratory testing, radiology, and pharmacy duties with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices for patient safety and infection control.
• Utilize advanced technology to support the streamlined, high-quality care model at VCA Urgent Care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of veterinary experience in a general practice or emergency setting.
• Experience with triaging patients and client education/communication.
• Weekend availability

Schedule:

• Full-time position working 4/10s (four 10-hour shifts per week).

• Available schedule options:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

• Shift hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Compensation: Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
