AmeriVet is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our San Diego team. The ideal candidate will be dependable and detail-oriented, with rooming, surgical assisting, and lab skills. Expect opportunities to work with x-ray, venipuncture, and anesthesia in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
• Fear Free preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Rooming patients and assisting in surgery.
• Draw blood and run lab work.
• Perform basic exams and record medical histories.
• Position and image animals for X-ray.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Provide client education and education to owners.
