Job summary

Cabrillo Pet Hospital in San Diego, CA is seeking a Veterinary Technician with strong clinical experience to join a supportive team. Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint; Fear Free preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Accurate medical histories and thorough exam procedures.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement; cephalic, saphenous, jugular.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist in surgical procedures.
• Perform basic exams and assist with anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring).
• Draw blood and run in-house lab tests.
• Take and position digital radiographs; ensure image quality.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communications.
