Job summary

Burlington Veterinary Center is hiring an experienced or licensed veterinary technician to join our surgical and clinical services team. This role emphasizes anesthesia, diagnostics, and high-quality patient care within a collaborative hospital environment.

You will monitor anesthesia, assist with surgeries, run in-house labs, and support imaging and dental procedures while engaging with clients and the team to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

Licensed veterinary technician with state eligibility.
Experience or strong interest in surgical support and anesthesia.
Comfortable in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Must work well in a team-based setting and be cross-trained.

Responsibilities

Prepare, monitor, and support patients through surgery and anesthesia.
Conduct in-house diagnostics including bloodwork and cytology.
Assist with imaging procedures (radiology/ultrasound).
Provide advanced nursing care for hospitalized patients.
Support dentistry procedures and laser treatments.
Collaborate with doctors to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Engage in client communication and education as part of a team.
