Job summary

Pine Forest Animal Clinic, a hands-on general practice in Conroe, TX, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to support outpatient care and procedural services including surgery and dentistry. You will move between exam rooms and procedure areas, educate clients, and help maintain a high standard of patient care.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of veterinary technician or assistant experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, monitoring and surgical support
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and radiography
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Experience with low-stress handling and client education

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Assisting in surgery
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
