Qualified candidates will hold a state licensed veterinary technician credential and have 5+ years of experience. Proficiency in COHAT and dental radiographs, plus anesthesia monitoring skills, are required. The role involves on-site duties with great client interaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician required.
• 5+ years of experience as a veterinary technician.
• Proficiency in COHAT and dental radiographs.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and support.
• Accurate medical record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in exams, surgery, and procedures.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights; educate clients.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor during procedures.
• Collect samples and run in-hospital labs; prepare specimens for outside labs.
• Take and develop radiographs following safety protocols.
• Assist with anesthesia, medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Restock and clean rooms; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Provide warmth, courtesy, and professional client interactions.
• Communicate with veterinarians and team about patient plans and concerns.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
