Qualifications

• State license to work as a credentialed veterinary technician.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assistance for heavier lifts when needed.
• Knowledge of anesthesia, dentistry, lab work, and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medicine and surgery as needed.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights during outpatient exams.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vitals during procedures.
• Obtain samples and perform in-hospital lab testing.
• Take, develop and maintain radiographs with proper safety.
• Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per veterinarian.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and restock supplies; support team.
