VCA Gwynedd Animal Hospital in Lansdale, PA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead our nursing team, guide patient care, and foster a positive hospital culture.

This working supervisory role emphasizes mentoring technicians, coordinating on-call coverage, and helping recruit and train new staff. We offer a signing bonus of $1500 and pay range of $25–$30/hr, with comprehensive benefits and access to a large veterinary community.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT credentials required and eligible to supervise technicians.
• Experience mentoring staff and leading nursing teams.
• Ability to collaborate with veterinarians to develop protocols.

Responsibilities

• Directing workflow on the hospital floor.
• Assist in educational development of technicians.
• Help with the interview process for potential new hires.

• Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience

• Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
